Four score and 0 days ago twas when this week commenced

For this week twas quite dandy and marvelous. Each of the fine days began with the fluid and glorious music of two Elders belting out Recuerde Esto (the last page of Preach my gospel) to the tunes of Redeemer of Israel, or Called to Serve. Many wonderful actions such as this came to pass. However, I twould like to relate the account of several spiritual stories that were viewed this week.

So first off, I must thank Sister Davidson for inspiring me to do this, but lately I have been trying to just follow any possible inspiration of the spirit in an attempt to better learn how to recognize them. And thus the story commences....... One shady night, with darkness enveloping them on all sides, Elder Sims and I headed home to the apartment. Upon reaching the door, we found a group of 6 people sitting there talking. Greeting us kindly, one of the guys told us "buenos tardes Elderes." This not being a common thing being referred to as elders. We acknowledged it as kind of weird, but simply returned the greeting and entered the house. Upon entering the house, I had the thought that we needed to contact that man. It was a firm thought and I found myself telling my willing companion that I think we should talk to that guy. Being 9:05 we knew we had to hurry and find a non awkward way to approach him. A plan formed and we took action!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jido (our monthyly allouance) had come in that day. As a result, phase one to operation "contact mysterious man at our door" was to go take out Jido (giving us a reason to leave our house). Phase two was the difficult part that required a bit of luck. Background information: We have a door with an exciting lock. By saying exciting what I really mean is that after inserting the key and turning it all the way, you have to keep turning it back and forth normally about 50 times before the door opens (our record is 264 clicks.......... That was an arm workout just clicking the key back and forth...... It kind of looks like we're trying to break into our own house). anyways, The plan was to contact him while trying to unlock our door. It worked perfectly!!!!! I began clicking the lock, and of course they commented on our lock problem and we began joking about it. When I finally got the door open, we had yet to contact (talk about the gospel) him, so I walked over and just continued our conversation about the lock. after a bit, he mentioned that his daughter was a member in MALDONADO!!!!!!! MY HOME TOWN SON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that he lives on the same street as our church building! His daughter is the ward hymn conductor and is super cool. We talked about her for a bit and I gave him a #graciasaqueelvive tarjeta with the number for the elders in maldonado. that was cool. They also gave us food. That made the experience even better.

Well, that took longer to tell than I thought, sooooo..... Ive got to go, but before I depart.....
