I HIT 6 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!
THAT SEEMS SO CRAZY! I dont feel old! Im only in my second area still. That was kind of a weird moment. We celebrated by milking alfajors (see the pics)
So anyways, I must begin now with stories from this week
The Tale of Ermesindo:
Once upon a time, there came a day when the majestic elder Sims and the young squire Elder Eliason found themselves walking though the streets of varela, heading towards a charla. Suddenly, Elder Sims found himself talking with a kind man and giving him a because he lives pass along card. They discovered his name and address and promised to visit another time. Not thinking much of the contact, they continued on their way.
A couple days passed till the time appointed to visit the man and the two missionaries headed to his house. It was soon discovered that he was golden. For after talking and playing a quick card game with him (we still have no clue how to play that game. haha that was pretty funny. we would just lay down cards and he would tell us it we won or lost. Afterwards, referring to the poker episode of studio c, my comp told me "I was literally just doing what mat was doing" That made me laugh) they showed him the video because he lives and taught him the plan of salvation. It was such a great lesson, and he asked amazing questions about how he could see his parents again and such.
though they had invited him to baptism and all, the two missionaries had forgotten to invite him to church that sunday, leaving them in hope and stress on saturday. After passing by his house and trying to call him to no avail, they resorted to prayer. Then the tender mercies (or as Elder Sims puts it "The lords chocolate chip cookies") came. They found themselves standing at the gate of a menos activo, who lives on the opposite side of the pueble, mid afternoon Saturday day (yeah, i think that works), talking and trying to get him back to church, when suddenly guess who passes by.  ERMESINDO!!!!! He waved to us and smiled. As quickly and politely as they could, the two missionaries concluded their discussion with the menos activo and set a time to come back and visit him again, then took off in pursuit. Although at first they thought they had lost him, some quick walking brought him to their sights. After greeting him and talking for a bit, they were able to ask if he would like to attend church the following day. Before they said anything else, he had already asked them where it was and when.
I love this guy. Im super psyched to teach him again tonight. He's super cool. I really hope he progresses.
The End
We also had some cool experiences where the lord prepared us before hand to teach what we needed to, but I have already written a fairly long letter.
Love you all and hope you have an amazing week. Moroni is a boss. Alma 48:17 Try to be like him. It will make your life so happy.
