Sanka, why you smokin? I aint smokin, Im freeeeeeezin

We've actually had some hot days this week, but the other day we woke up to ice everywhere and seeing our breath inside the house. WOOOOOHOOOO hello winter

SO This week has been crazy. Sadly Matias has kind of disappeared and we cant find him, but on the plus side we found a ton of news..... and worked really hard. Haha, literally one day we spent all day just talking to everyone we can, tracking down ancient investigators from the area book, and looking for menos activos using a ward list and didnt sit down from 3 until 9. haha I got some pictures of my rockin comp dead on the floor when we got back. Haha that day we literally got back, got on our knees to start planning, then (after the prayer) he just collapsed on the floor in front of our gas heater saying how nice it felt. We both thought it was pretty funny.

So ya, I have totally found a new love for the area book. That thing is caulked full of super sweet people that have turned into news:D I just pray that they will feel the love God has for them, decide to act, and really progress. THEY CAN TOTALLY DO IT!!!!!!!!! Thats the thing about the gospel. Its all about action. There are a bunch of little things that we can do that, well, for no reason we dont do. One of my big weaknesses in the past was talking to people in the street. Only in my last few changes have I really found the importance and blessing of it, and now, its one of our greatest strengths. All it is, is opening your mouth. Not a whole ton of work. Not that hard. Its just the doing it thats the thing. Its like home teaching. Thats not a super strong point in many places. Its a small thing that really doesnt take much time, but for some reason sometimes we dont do. We dont know why we dont do it, we just dont. However, the moment we decide to do it, MAN you feel so great. You really feel like youre helping out the lord. Magnify your calling. Its a little extra effort, but youll never regret it.

That was kind of off topic, but hey, its true.

So can I just reiterate how amazing the members are here. There's this one guy, Hermano Galarza, who is just an all around great guy. Haha he has a kid named nefí (nephi in spanish), and the other day while he was at work, was talking about baby names with one of his buds who just had a kid. When asked about what he thought, he told him that he had gotten the name from the Book of Mormon, the next day he asked us for a copy (which we gladly gave to him), he passed it along, and two days later (saturday) as we were doing service throwing cement against the side of a house (there are... different ways here to build houses:)) he told us that his friend had read all about nefí and is in alma. Im super stoked and hope that we can meet this guy soon.

anyways Ive got to go.

Love you all a ton!
