Holy cow milagros....... and Chucuras

En serio. This week was probably the best of my mission! SOOOOO much happened.

In other words...... Im just going to start telling stories and see where this leads.

First off. Last Monday after a leaders meeting (my comp is district leader), we were walking away from the stake center down a way we dont normally head when this lady ran out of nowhere and Shouted ELDERS!!!!! She ran over to us and began explaining how her husband and son were sick and needed blessings. We brought her back to the church where all the other elders were (she didnt live in our area and we wanted her to meet her elders). As it turns out, she had just moved to the area with her family. they didnt know how to find the church here or the missionaries and had been looking and praying for both for over a week. Seeing us walking down the street was an answer to her prayers. That was a really cool experience. Especially having 4 elders give a blessing (her husband was with her). First Miracle of the week

Another Miracle: We were late getting out of a lesson with Gabriela (an investigator). We quickly ran over to the bus stop across the street (our house was a half hour away and it was 9:15) This was a bus stop we had never used before (oh, all of uruguay runs on buses, everyone uses them) and we didnt know what time the next pone would pass. We said a prayer that it would come soon so that we could be home in time. The bus should up at 9:23. We entered our house at exactly 9:30.

Friday!!!! This day was one of the best of my mission. We had a Zone conference down in Montevideo. What did this mean? Well first off, I was able to have a one on one interview with President Cook. Who pretty much is one of the wisest man I know. That was really cool. After that we were able to watch the rest of Meet the Mormons!!!!:D and to top it off, We each had the opportunity to take a name all the way through the temple (minus sealings). That was super spiritual I was able to give 3 of my name to other Elders. As such, we were able to do 4 complete names. I love the Temple. All of you that live close, go. It will bring you so much peace and happiness. More than anything else you can be doing right now. El Polvo del mundo descansa en el templo.

Last thing about Friday that was really cool. That night we got out of a charla with Gabriela (this time earlier:)) and headed over to the bus stop. As we were waiting for the bus, we started talking with a lady there just about trivial things (I think we were talking about the weird frogs they have here that sound like cats.......). anyways, as we were talking another lady showed up and joined into our conversation. After a bit, she looked at us and told us that flat out she was evangelican, but that she thought that what we do is the best thing in the world. Not only this, but her entire family fasts and prays that we will have success in spreading the word of christ. That completely took elder Cervantes and I by surprise, and left us in awe. That was cool too.

Ummmmm.... Oh ya, the Chucura lady. Saturday night we were walking home (once again, a different way that I had never taken before) when we passes a house that said milagros (houses here dont really have numbers most of the time. People like to put signs outside that have words instead). After we had passes it, I stopped, thought for a sec, and turned around. Upon returning to the house, we clapped and began talking to a middle age woman. After a while of talking, she invited us inside (her husband was in the other room). As it turns out, she's an instructor of yoga, so we ended up sitting cross-legged on mats. We talked for a while and had a super spiritual charla where she told us her life story and how this member who lived across the street had always helped her through all her struggles (her life was pretty rough at times). After a long time of talking and teaching, she made the comment that everyone you meet is for a reason, and that she thinks thats why we were there. Man it was a really cool charla. After we had finished teaching (looking back, I dont remember how we got on the topic), she began telling us some of the tings she teaches her students. I dont know if this is part of yoga (i dont believe so), but she also teaches some methods of relaxing that come from india and deal with universal energy. Yes, she taught us the 7 chucuras of the body (yes, the same as in Avatar the Last Airbender Episode: Crossroads of destiny (i think)). Apparently that actually a real thing. It was really cool. And she taught us how to relax through breathing techniques. We left there feeling super tranquilo. Haha, Im excited to go back and teach her.

Ummm, I also have a miracle of Gabriela coming to church, but I think this is enough for today. Hope yall have a great week. Love you tons!!!!! Write ME:D
